Springtime is finally here! Get out of the house and go for a walk, jog, run or play some basketball, tennis or any kind of sport. Enjoy the nice warm weather by moving around outside. Do some spring cleaning, fly a kite, walk the dog; just get moving. Physical activity can help with more than just maintaining your weight and keeping fit; it can also improve emotional stability. It can reduce depression and anxiety and release endorphin’s which are chemicals that stimulate the pleasure centers of the brain. Exercise improves one’s ability to handle stress, and improves self-image.
