Candace M.’s Sleeve Gastrectomy Story

My name is Candace McBride, and I have been overweight most of my life. But at the age of 25 I was tipping the scales at 417 pounds. I could literally feel my body shutting down slowly.

 

 

That is when I decided to change my life for the better. I put my life in Dr. Steven Simper’s hands on June 1, 2015 in hopes that I would live a longer and more fulfilling life, and it’s the best decision I have ever made. Within the first few months I was losing weight rapidly, using my gastric sleeve as the tool it is and reaping the benefits of weight loss.

I am now 21 months out and have lost 191 pounds. I wish I could go back in time and tell my morbidly obese self that this hard work is well worth every second. I live adipex-p phentermine buy such a beautiful life now, striving to be healthier every day and motivating others that are in a situation I once was to do the same. I can honestly say that I have never been happier than I am now.

I know that weight loss surgery has a stigma, but it is far from the truth. This is hard work but my life is worth that much. I still have 30-40 pounds to go before I hit my goal weight, but with the tool I was given and my fitness regimen, I know that I will hit that goal and maintain my weight loss because I deserve to love myself that much.
