Danielle W.’s Duodenal Switch Story

Well my story begins on September 17, 2018, with Dr. Rodrick McKinlay when he helped me with the best surgery of my life. I had the Duodenal Switch surgery.

 

 

I have been a cardiac patient since birth and my weight was getting very out of control. I couldn’t do very much to take care of it. But this surgery was the best thing I did in my life. It has made my health a lot better in the long run.

Thank you to Dr. McKinlay and the staff of Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians (RMAP). The progress is hard but so worth it! The pictures don’t do the progress justice. Just know if you are thinking about doing this surgery, don’t question it. Just make the risky jump to better your life. Again, thank you Dr. McKinlay and staff.
