I started my surgery hunt to keep me out of a power chair. I had the Gastric Bypass. My three doctors thought that surgery would give me at least five years of walking. I have been walking six years. I told them I would have a power chair in 15-20 years. I had about 90 pounds to lose.

I lost almost 110 pounds and that was too much. My doctor thought I looked like an Ethiopian orphan. I gained back twenty, but lately I gained eleven more pounds. My doctor would like that to come off me. I am working on it. My exercise includes my recumbent bike. I can do stairs and walk in my house and a little on my block. I walk really well for having such weak bones. No one can tell unless I am having a really bad day.
Dr. Steven Simper did my surgery. I figured I might as well use a Brighamite. He did a really great job. I don’t have any scars except where the drain tube was.
You may ask me questions. I love the Facebook pages to talk to one another. We all make a mistake. It is nice to know that we are all human.
Thanks. Love you all.
