Staff Spotlight – Connorie

Our staff here at Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians (RMAP) strive to assist in the improvement of the health of individuals who suffer from the disease of Morbid Obesity and its co-morbidities. We desire that all of our patients achieve improved health and an enriched quality of life through significant weight reduction by the method of weight loss surgery, nutritional and behavioral education.

 

 

We love for you to get to know the faces of what makes RMAP such a great team, and this week our staff spotlight is our Physicians Assistant, Connorie. She attended the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies majoring in Biology with an emphasis on Microbiology, as well as a minor in chemistry. She completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at University of New England in Portland, Maine in 2019. Connorie’s previous work experience includes working with general and orthopedic surgeons for whom she assisted in surgical procedures. Prior to joining the RMAP team, she helped manage long-term chronic conditions at a family practice for 1.5 years. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. Connorie’s main focus will be to work with Dr. Simper, Dr. McKinlay, Dr. Paulk, and Dr. Greer in close monitoring of patient’s needs along with operating room assistance.

Connorie grew up in Utah and loves spending time outdoors, traveling, cooking, and baking. She loves trying new things to cook/bake and enjoys experiencing new cultures.

Our team is very grateful to have Connorie as part of our medical staff here at RMAP. We are indebted for all that she does, for us and our patients. Help us give her thanks and appreciation! We love having her as a part of our RMAP family!
