Prior to this, she worked as a nurse at the Veterans Affairs Hospital on the Float Pool and on the vascular access team. In her previous life, she was an educator and food activist\/researcher with an emphasis on how food policy and advertising impact the health of children. She is an obesity medicine specialist and enjoys the complexity of obesity and is passionate about helping her clients find real solutions to get to a healthy weight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">She is passionate about the role of food and lifestyle on overall health and well-being, particularly mental health. Elizabeth creates an environment that is supportive, inspiring, and comfortable so that her clients are empowered to make the changes they need in order to achieve their goals. There are many tools that can be used to support clients and will help guide them to choose the tools that work best for their personality and lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Welcome Elizabeth!
