As patients of Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians (RMAP) know the team at RMAP is more than physicians, office staff, and patients. We are a family. It should also be well known that once you join the RMAP family you’re a member for life, so although the time in my current position is coming to an end, I feel honored to forever be a part of this amazing family.
Over the past 9.5 years I have had the pleasure of getting to know many of you as you made the decision to have bariatric surgery. I witnessed your bravery as you made the decision to better your health. I know this decision was not made lightly as you spent countless hours researching and asking questions to ensure that this was the best decision. You spoke of the changes you would make so you could be there wholeheartedly for yourself and for your loved. There wasn’t a day that went by that I wasn’t inspired by the hard work and dedication it took to make such a brave decision.
Having weight loss surgery was only the first step. Your bravery continued as you made big adjustments to your life. You fight temptations, negative comments, and people who don’t know how to support you through this life change. You do all of this while physically and mentally becoming a different person. I hope you never forget how strong you are, and if you ever need a reminder, please reach out. #TeamRMAP you are never alone in this journey.
I’ve never been good at goodbyes, so instead I’ll end with a couple announcements. First, I’m excited to introduce buy phentermine malaysia RMAP’s newest employee Jessica. Jessica recently moved back home to Utah after living in Savannah, Georgia. She has background in the medical field, is a published author, and actively participates in volunteer work. We are excited to have her join our team as our social media manager.
The second announcement is something I know many of you have been waiting for. I’m honored to announce next year’s New Beginnings Ball on Saturday, April 8th! This annual event is a highlight to the hard work and dedication you’ve put into being your best self over the past year. It’s a time to come together as friends and celebrate each others successes and accomplishments. The event is hosted by Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians and will be held at University Park Marriott in Salt Lake City, Utah. Early Bird tickets will go on sale February 1st, with more details being announced in the following month.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of each of your inspiring journey’s! I’m proud of the powerful supportive community that each of you help uphold, and the family you’ve helped create at RMAP. Keep up the good work and supporting each other! I’ve learned so much from this amazing group, but if there’s one thing I could pass on it is that no matter how similar or different our journeys may be, we all have something we can give each other- compassion. Team RMAP, you have shown me the true meaning of compassion and I will take this with me as I begin my new adventure.
