I weighed 279 pounds and I felt like I was slowly dying. In the three years prior to my weight loss surgery, I had been diagnosed with Type II diabetes. This along with earlier diagnoses of sleep apnea, high blood pressure, cholesterol issues, GERD and pulmonary problems made me believe that if I did not do something, I would not live long enough to spend my well-deserved retirement funds. A big change had to be made and at the time, I was primarily interested in the health benefits of doing some sort of bariatric surgery.

Since having my Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery, I have been very strict with three things—diet (life changer), water intake, and exercise. I now average 3 miles a day (prior to surgery I could not go up a flight of stairs without being winded), and I participate in strength building workouts at the Utah Fitness Institute as well as at home. I completely understand the benefits of and I do much better the more water I drink, so I average 100 ounces a day. My meals are planned and I have enjoyed learning hot to redo gourmet meals, getting great satisfaction making them compliant with the 70/30 diet and tasty all in just a few ounces.

Wow, do I feel buy generic adipex online better! I was once on 35 pills a day—now I only take my routine vitamins. No longer do I use a bi-pap and oxygen, all the blood pressure and cholesterol medications are gone, and my blood glucose levels are completely normal. An additional bonus is that I have lost over 100 pounds and 55 inches off my body. Instead of feeling like the almost 60 that I am, I feel like I am 25 again!

Dr. Rodrick McKinlay and the rest of the staff at Rocky Mountain Associated Physicians (RMAP) have my undying gratitude for their help and encouragement which has given me my life back. Now I am looking forward to my golden years instead of worrying that I may not see them. Thank you, RMAP!
